I miss the interior innovations of the 90s. My 96 rav4 had seats like this. The back seats and front seats were designed to fold down into 2 beds. Surprisingly comfortable.

Nope, only transmission offered was a 4-speed autobox. Automatics are even more prevalent in Japan than in the US.

Oh well, at least if Canada annexes the US I can get myself a brand new Mazda5 6MT to replace my beloved 2012, but this time in GT trim (Sport only in the US).
